Doug has been working in and around air conditioning since he was 17 years old and joined the Navy. He was part of the AC&R division on the ship. AC&R stands for Air Conditioning & Repair. After the Navy, Doug attended Texas Bible College where he received a degree in pastoral theology. While attending TBC, Doug met and married his wife of 25 years. They have four children together. Doug is very big on learning and after six years of working in the field as a service technician he attended "The Refrigeration School, Inc" in Pheonix, AZ. He finished at the top of his class. Doug was also a sales manager for one of the largest Air Conditiong Contractors in the united states before deciding to lead a simple life in East TX. Once deciding to get out of the corporate rat race, Doug & Family moved back to the family farm. It's from that farm that Doug's Air Conditioning started. The farm is located about 40 miles from Hemphill, and as Doug was getting service calls almost every day, Doug & Amy decided to buy a place near Hemphill. Since then their business has grown tremendously. As Doug's mind never seems to rest, He has played part time inventor and holds both US Patents and Patent applications with the US Patent Office. Doug is also junior partner in stoptxting.com, a company formed to help save lives through the prudent use of technology.
